Many were the participants in the 2010 Whatisdeepfried.com Easter Egg Hunt, but only some could be the winners, and therefor better in every way than the others! The names have been tallied and those victorious aristocrats have shown their quality!

No use crying over spilled eggs! All those who did not win will form the lowest caste of my new order! Kneel, then, before the new Masters of the Universe, your OVERLORDS!

   

Jay Sandora, who found the Cracked Egg and the Brown Egg, and who receives a copy of Deep Fried vol. 2 #1 AND a copy of Weapon Brown!

Eggsecutive Leverage

Easter is upon us, and though we will soon be fighting for our lives as zombie messiahs rise from the dead and force us to drink their curdled blood and devour their fetid flesh, still there is hope for some joy in this season of nightmares.

For once upon a time, Spring was the time of renewal and hope! And it is in that pagan spirit and in the name of blessed Baal that I announce the upcoming Deep Fried Easter Egg Hunt!

Details will soon follow, but I will tell you now that this event is both free and packed with goodies! The only condition for getting in on the joy is that you must be signed up to the Deep Fried Mailing List.  This is one of those special events I have sometimes teased my elite fans with, and if you were signed up you could already be looking down your nose at your peers!

Any Chicago Blockheads out there?

There is a big comic show coming up in Chicago called C2E2, running from April 16-18 . I am trying to see if it is feasible for me to attend, and right now the only impediment is my being able to move my show materials around, since the show is at the McCormick Place convention center and I am most likely going to be staying at the downtown HoJo.

So, if there are any drooling ChiTown fans out there who would like to show how much they truly love me, I have just the thing! I am still scheming my schemes, but I will either need:

A) Someone who I can ship my show materials to who could then bring them to me at McCormick Place, either Thursday April 15th or Friday April 16th (I haven’t made my travel arrangements yet), OR

B)Someone who can pick me up at Union Station that Thursday or Friday and take me to McCormick place from there, providing I could bring my materials with me by train (which is my planned means of getting to Chicago).

In return, you will receive fuck all! You should be honored just to serve me! a complimentary Exhibitor Badge which will give you access to the show for the whole weekend, or a few bucks for your trouble, whichever you want most. You could even serve as my table slave if you were really committed.

Anyone who thinks they would be interested can respond here or drop me an e-mail. Thanks in advance to the thousands of people who I know have been waiting for this opportunity!

Update: Looks like I have found my Messiah! But I want the rest of you on call just in case.

Thank you, Blockheads!

The CAL-V.1N T-shirt Drive, which at times looked like it might crash and burn like the very economy it was flying in the face of, has succeeded, and then some! A last minute spurt of orders pushed me over the top, which guarantees that there will be T-shirts for this generation and the next.

So first, let me thank Eywa, the great mother spirit whose life forces courses through us all. But in the runner-up position is all of you put the green in my pocket and enabled me to plop a new product in my store. Thanks!

These pre-order drives are really essential for keeping the strip going, too. The time-to-profit ratio involved in putting this strip out every week would make a plantation slave look like Warren Buffet. Things like the T-shirts and Megaton Packs are what enable me to fund my convention appearances and keep me in the public eye. Without help from you guys, I wouldn’t have the money I need to have products ready in time or my shows. So, give yourelves a pat on the back!

And now, the moment you have endured the last three paragraphs for! Using my MIT-designed random luckiness generator, I am happy to announce that the winner of the free piece of artwork that I promised to one lucky customer is: Rene Castellano of Chicago Illinois!
