Where’s Clarissa??
Be Mine is NOT finished, despite my awful upload schedule! Between the Kickstarter I have been running and an unexpected comic book assignment, I have not had time to create the next page in Clarissa’s story. I BLAME MONEY!!
However, I will definitely have a new Clarissa page for you next week, honest Injun! (Oh shit, I mean “honest redskin”! Wait… is that problematic too? Grrr! Just show up next week!)
Ironically, I think Clarissa herself would tell you, “No rush.”
Real Blockheads know how this works. No problem, man.
Relax. You didn’t promise an update schedule for this Clarissa story and we all know that the creative process, especially when juggling multiple projects, takes time.
I’m just thankful you’re still making these comics! I started reading them in middle school! i’m 25 now. Take as much time as you need and thank you for your art!
JY: Middle school?? OMG! When am I going to finish this story???
Just a thought from a deviant mind………………
I don’t know if there is enough pages to the story or if there would be enough overall interest, but I would love, once it is all completed to be able to get the complete Clarissa in one volume, along the lines of Weapon Brown. Just a thought for either a future printed comic funded by a Kickstarter or else as a stretch goal if you greatly exceed the target for a Kickstarter. i know Clarissa has been printed a story at a time in various “Peek” and “Beepo and Roadkill” issues, but all in one volume would be truly awesome.
I’m just happy I’ll live to see the end of it. I came across these, somehow, when I was maybe ten years old. Thought it would never be finished, but now I’m actually old enough for it to be appropriate for me to read this (eighteen) and it’s actually getting updated consistently.
Nice being here all these years, and I’ll be glad to see how it ends… however it ends, I’m not exactly anticipating sunshine and rainbows.
This has been the worst thing I’ve ever read. I love it, please take your time to make more. I read all of it in one sitting and hated every moment. The previous panel made my stomach drop in a way I haven’t felt in a long time, and I can’t wait to read more!
JY: Wow!
