Wow… did this story ever take longer to complete than I expected! At this point you would think I would be used to my projects dragging on forever, what with every single story I have ever written having taken so long to conclude that even that kid in The Jaunt couldn’t stick around for the ending. But at long last… TA DAAAAA!
I hope you enjoyed this latest slice of heaven from Clarissa. I will do what I can to get her next epic underway as soon as possible!

I’ll admit it, I didn’t see that coming. Kudos! Also, I thought this was the last Clarissa story. How much longer are you gonna make this poor girl suffer?!
Honestly not really sure how to feel about this ending. On one hand, it is kind of cute, but on the other hand, dude she said no, give it a rest.
@Galaxy — I get what you’re saying, but I also think this ending is open to interpretation. My first thought on reading this page was that Roger was doing the right thing and accepting Clarissa’s “no,” and simultaneously offering a sort of well-intended, “no hard feelings” parting gift. I like that Jason didn’t spell it out for us one way or another.

The ending here is far too sweet, this would be a good thing but I get the feeling this means the next few pages with be the most heart breaking thing to come out of that evil pen of yours

Man, it’s nice to read these again. I was 12 when I suffered through CSA, I had stumbled onto Clarissa when I was browsing the web. In a dark way, it was like the both of us were suffering together, because neither of us were alone. It wasn’t until I was 22 I was able to escape, thank you for making this comic and shedding light into this topic, it feels like you had given the survivors out there a voice.

She is such a mean and selfish girl. A nice young man is attempting to court her and she has a loving family. In a poor attempt to be some sort of “cool” or “hip” emo type, she contaminates sharp objects with potentially infectious bodily fluids and I guaranteed she didn’t dispose of it in a safe manner. Hopefully she will learn to appreciate those around her rather than treating them as objects to take her irration mood swings out on.
@Daquan Beasley way to miss the point of this entire comic… If you haven’t read the other comic strips/chapters in the series, I’d recommend you do so and hopefully that changes your mind. But as it stands you either sound like a troll, misogynist, and/or have a very poor/twisted perspective on mental health and abuse. For anyone reading that comment that it may effect, personally I’m sorry on Daquan’s behalf. Very messed up things to say given the topic at hand, and it’s all wrong-it’s never a child/person’s fault what Clarissa has gone through or similar, and the reactions in her behaviour are justified and can be mended in part or full through therapy/counseling

Being a notorious troll myself, I try not to be too anal about pruning my comments. However, yes, that comment is trollish and should not be responded to. Please, everyone, be mature and move along.
This comic never fails to make me cry but I’m happy that this time it’s for a less depressing reason.
