You totally need to add “Cold Pizza” as a character in the Breakfast Club.

I vote yes on the new setup. I’ll always miss the sound effects on the old site, but this is a lot easier to navigate. And I see what you did there with the chapter pointers…

Aww! They’re so cute! Please don’t maim them TOO horribly, JY. It would break my heart, and it’s already on suicide watch from all the cholestorol I’ve been giving it.

Like legion, I like the new pointers, very appropriate. ๐Ÿ˜€ And I didn't even know the website had sound effects, reading from work and have a phone headset on, the PC's sounds are muted. :-/Making me rub my eyes with the new site, tho … is there supposed to be a background wallpaper and my browser isn't rendering it? Stark white is a bit bright รขโ‚ฌยฆ

JY: Then turn down your goddamn brightness!!! My left sidebar is displaying text 20% smaller than normal when it appears as part of a search query!! Do you think I have time to worry about your precious baby eyeballs??

Meh, I just figure it’s the last thing someone sees right before the plaz gun wipes them out. ๐Ÿ˜€ It works.

Doesn’t she mean “we’ll just get fed lies about how Islam is a “religion of peace” and it’s a good idea to not put a flight ban from countries where Ebola is running rampant?”

America might be one of those countries pretty soon! I personally would welcome a ban on flights n and out of Texas, however.

Professor Captcha says that once the number of domestic Ebola victims reaches 163, it’s time to unleash the nukes.

She’s way behind the times anyway…schools haven’t taught anything about America’s superiority since about the 1980s. Come on, teaching that the Pilgrims were terrorists? On Thanksgiving? Talk about propaganda!

Here’s the easiest one to find, Austin. Haven’t found the original TV Studio film on this yet.

…life is too short, and brain cells too non-renewable a resource, for me to watch a Glenn Beck clip all the way through. Glenn Beck reminds me of the Holy Pterns of Bazoom from the late Mark Rogers’ Samurai Cat story “A Fighting Cat of Mars”. Tomokato can’t understand why the Martians take the Pterns seriously; those ridiculous bird-hats, the greasy smiles and the profuse sweating ought to make them laughingstocks. Then he asks Effluvia, maid of Mars, and she tells him that the bird-hats, the smiles and the sweating are precisely why ordinary Martians trust the Pterns.

It’s entirely possible that he quotes actual liberals in there. It’s even possible that he quotes them accurately. It’s just that there are some odds I don’t consider worth gambling on, particularly not with my own brain cells. In the immortal words of Jane Lane, return to your world and I’ll return to mine. (Episode 2.08, “Quinn the Brain”)

I managed, and – surprise surprise – Glenn Beck didn’t present any evidence for that claim, because this is Glenn Beck we’re talking about here and he never presents evidence for anything.

So, nice try there, but [citation still needed].

I dig the pointers and like the “plaz gun muzzle flash” background too!

A discussion about truth, eh? I love these! For me, “truth” is basically defined as anything that puts C-notes in my pocket or gets “Little Steve” a bit of company (oh, and health stuff). Lies are defined as anything else. Oh, the truth is school is just around to let someone else watch over yer little snot factory for a few hours.

I dunno about the Pilgrims, but you won’t have to dig too hard to find out what a total rat bastard Christopher Columbus was … and we gave him a holiday in addition to naming numerous cities, streets and sites after him. Such a tribute for a guy known to brutalize the natives of the land he “found”. (found? how can you “discover” a land where people already live?)

So no surprise to me if it turned out the Pilgrims left any havok in their wake. Especially since they were, as Robin Williams once put it, “people so uptight even the BRITISH kicked them out”. ๐Ÿ˜€
