Roadkill considered giving the movie rights to Jordan Peele, but he really didn't want his story to turn into a surreal satire where the horror is constantly being undermined by humor. When someone is having their face ground off with a power sander, Roadkill doesn't want the audience wondering if it is a metaphor for the opiod crisis.

Mmm, Sun Chips are quite good. I still prefer Miss Vickie’s Jalapeno for that nice…aftershock. I also prefer A&W over Wendy’s…
