….
The big-nose prisoner is Uncle Sid from “Ernie” (or “Piranha Club” as it’s now called)?
Nope! Just an average Idiot.
So… what’s “Idyllwood” a reference to? I’m drawing a blank.
The name “The Wizard of Id” is, of course, a play on the “Wizard of Oz”, and from there we get “Oz” the prison drama set in the fictional Oswald State Correctional Facility, so mine is double gag.
Real prisons should have a look at festooning the razorwire with corpses. Adds an air of inevitability, I think.
“Unlocked my skull and opened my mind” sure takes on its true meaning since I read the character sketches!
I remember that part and how I thought it was genius.
Dark science.
