I shudder to think who the woman with the five-o-clock shadow is.
Dennis the Menace’s mom is named Alice, last time I checked.
If they can get out alive, the whole zone is going to turn into a battlefield for Brown and Cal
Sorry that you found her, Sorry that it took you this long to find her, or sorry as to how JY weaponized her?
Certainly I feel that Frank Cho & JY have similar inclinations… though I feel JY is a better artist, Cho has certainly given us more T&A. (Hint, Hint JY)
In a beatnik club on the south side of Dagobah, Captcha sits back and orders an “Ideatio the”
Love the shout out to Frank Cho. Totally doused any flames for the hot mamas he draws for LM.
For whoever said JY was a better artist than FC, I’d disagree. Each has his purpose and is great in his own right. JY makes a great action/adventure webstrip that mocks the print syndicates, while Cho followed in Watterson’s footsteps, hoping to push the newspaper funnies to new levels of quality while using slightly risque content to challenge the outdated “morality” of the medium.
Captcha sees both as talented heroes who elevate comics to high art: rocomen kulturen.
Why is Brandy so damned hairy. If there were ever two perfectly formed female comic characters, it’d be Brandy and Jen. Just the right blend of absurd comic-license “gorgeous” blended with just enough “heft” between the two of them to appeal to the busty woman-lover inside of all men.
@Jorpho — Mr. Dinkle was the band director at Westview High School (note name on the side of the bus) in _Funky Winkerbean_. “Lisa” is presumably Lisa Crawford from the same strip; the reference to her tits is a bit wry, given that Tom Batiuk had her die of breast cancer in the strip.
@Ben — While I am slightly disappointed at this news, I am also brightened by the possibility that this means Winkerbean’s senseless personification of Death will make an appearance.
I think the thing with Liberty Meadows was that the facial structure for the women were a little more masculine than expected, stronger chins, things like that.

Don’t forget Andy Capp in the tags. Wow, Alice Mitchell on Crankshaft’s bus. I can go now.
Welcome back, JY. I missed you.
(By the way, I had to look up Brandy and now I’m kind of sorry I did.)
<3 the tricked out Big Daddy Roth style bus
WOW, is that Dean from Liberty Meadows just stepping on the bus next to the 5 o’ clock shadow woman?

Reminds me of the ridiculous vehicles drawn by Stan Mott, creator of the “History of Racing Tanks” series: http://sbiii.com/cyclops/stmott-1.html
