Yep, PHB, congratulations. You’ve proven to everyone, including Cal, who’s in charge.

    CAL IS.

Psycho-sensitive matter? So Hobbes is imaginary, sort of, that is awesome! And badass!

    Heeeeeeeeeeere’s Calvin! Hey-yo!

I like the way you created a backronym of “HOBS,” and had Dilbert be the one who apparently came up with that name. It all fits together just right.

I notice that the chairman’s tie is covered with currency symbols; is that something you just added today, or did I miss that detail until now?

    — It’s all Greek to Captcha: pantheon to.

Heuristically optimized bonding surrogate…a stuffed animal. That he was able to reorganize into…a weapon perhaps? Awesome stuff.

    So much awesome!

Captcha sure isn’t pulling punches with the social commentary on print media: Newspapers dwindled

Congrats, PHB, you have just screwed up every bit of potential of using this program effectively. Glad to see you haven’t changed.

Can’t Cal just butcher every single person in the Syndicate once he gets his orders, then just go after Chuck “for fun?” Something tells me it’d be easier (and more fun) to draw Calvin just wrecking everyone’s shit instead of an army of legionnaires.

    Captcha is prophetic: to savager

I spent most of my childhood reading Calvin & Hobbes, C.A.L. first words were all a great tribute, thanks lot for making this happen, who’s the man, you are the fucking man !!

geez, if i had a nickle for every time i had an icicle in my cockhole, i’d be able to pay off the dominatrix who does it…..

Frames 3, 4, 5: OMFG I just put that together about his exo-nervous system and what he can do with it, especially with the HOBS, which DUH means he makes it not just a tiger but like One Million Years BC-kinda tiger, plus I am sure also Spaceman Spiff type stuff too, meaning this whole Chuck/C.A.L. smackdown just went up a level or six 🙂

You don’t mess with CAL. =|

Also, I wonder if HOBS is in anyway related to Linus’ blanket?

When the eventual Adult Swim adaptation comes down the pike, Tim Curry should do the voice of PHB, and those out there who saw the 80’s movie Legend will understand why…..LOL

captcha sees the long drawn out process of getting to the final smackdown: similar weeks (of few updates) 😉

    @freelance angel

nice reference. I think that’s from when Calvin finds Hobbes after the breakin, and they’re talking to the cop.

I can’t wait for Monday.. another WB update! Chuck is the epitome of a badass, but I think Calvin is going to steal the spotlight.

I also like how the PHB’s hair reflects his mood.

Something just occurred to me. According to Dilbert, the protocols Van Pelt put in place may only work ONCE…and considering the original Calvin’s penchant for disobeying the rules, there’s no guarantee that he’ll obey them then.

Captcha’s planning on going on vacation: to houston

    Re: blanket/tiger connection

I had that idea in mind. I just didn’t have the room to explore it.
    …

Lord Captcha reclined in his wing-back chair. His manservant summoned years of training to suppress his agitation. “Yes sir, I know what it is you do NOT want for tea. But what is it you do…”

    “Not scones,” Lord Captcha repeated.

For those of the uneducated ilk (read: ME), can someone explain the Linus/Blanket reference made by Professional Mole and JY?

I’ve read all the Weapon Brown’s on the site, but don’t recall the reference.

    Thanks!

And, Captcha has expanded its mansion grounds: added parterre

@wcdude: That is a reference to A Peanut Scorned, which is not available online, only through the store. The very first appearance of our anti-hero, Chuck AKA Weapon Brown.

@MWG: as any of the legally amorphous characters’ references are pretty dead on (Dilbert has no mouth, Duke seems to be permanently on something, etc.), it would have been more worth it to wonder if he wouldn’t, don’t ya think? 🙂
