Geothermal powered underground city with ambient lighting, bikes and fruit stands, what looks to be a geriatric school-girl and a Mexican revolutionary in the streets.
Beautiful. It does indeed look like a Sunday comics page, complete with a Jumble puzzle in the top left area (and I’ll bet I’m the first to see that). You, sir, are truly an artist. 🙂
Also, the far side of the closest building on the right has a big block of ivy with a rectangular window pane at the top left, which (if you imagine that the ivy represents text) is reminiscent of the bridge/chess/advice columns that are often run on the comics pages.
@Marlowe – Yeah, this is my first time seeing all of this. Part of me wants to get ahold of the whole thing so I can just FIND OUT WHAT THE #$%@ IS GONNA HAPPEN, but a bigger part of me knows that I would just whip through the story in ten minutes and lose the whole delicious daily-update-anticipation thing.

holy f’ing shit. incredibly badass.
Beauty.
Chuck is going up against the syndicate, and with Annie’s men he help may have the means to put them away. Go Chuck!
Awesome view! And I love Chuck’s expression …
Captcha description of Chuck? ‘the primate’
awesome artwork. this is a killer storyline
This is utopia compared to the surface world. XD
Worthy of a McCay.
Well well…looks like a nice turn of events…
In return what? What!?
Sweethaven, no doubt.
“In return what? What!?” – D Hue
She’s gonna give him a handy, what do you think?
Chuck’s gonna get a chance at living with them ya blockhead!
the apartment windows are set up like a funnies page. this gives me a sense of foreboding, but its probably just conditioning
D Hue, Pee Pants : in return she’s going to want Chuck to lead them and go up against the incoming s**t-storm the syndicate is bringing.

CAPCHA: session drawback
Heal an animal they injured in the first place… hope our favorite blockhead doesn’t forget that part.
@peepants
I think she’ll give him more than a handy. Most likely a full army.

Many artists can do character closeups but not panoramas. You, sir, are awesome.
Although I did laugh at the”You’re a bad man, Weapon Brown” line. Yes, it’s hard to believe, almost frightening to conceive, what a bad man you are.
WOW JY!! Your 2 (+?) days of work have certainly paid off.. I LOVE IT! Nicely done!! And completely unexpected!
my captcha best describes Chuck himself: then reloads
Woah this artwork and storyline is just incredible, never fails to impress!

You’ll forgive me but the line, “Now can I cook or can’t I” leaps to mind.

— Captcha gets philosophical: ethereal significant.
you’re a good man, Charlie Brown
Sweet mercy me. Awesome funny papers comic strip. FTW!
Such a nice view that it appears Chuck’s dropped his guard…his arm isn’t in quite the deathgrip that it was.
Very nice detail, btw.
are we allowed to expect an update today?
And yeah, thanks Sherlock.

I’m thrilled with two a week. You spoil us!
Although, I’ll be hitting f5 all day tomorrow…
Do you have thime to (captcha) revise though?
Awesome Vista View.
While impatiently waiting for an update captcha says: Maggots Taxing
And in return… we offer you another cliff hanger.
Bad ol’ Weapon Brown.
The captcha knows it all: hellion knowledge
I’m not sure that one round frame at upper left should be there. Family Circus is at least as evil as Mary Worth, and she was on the Syndicate side…
@Joe
If you haven’t read the series before, you’ll be in for a bit of a surprise.
That said, I always liked JY’s treatment of the Family Circus.
Haw haw! “You’re a bad man, Weapon Brown.” Great!
_ That’s living?! Where are the friggin’ cars? Count me out ! Oh wait, I see a pub. Never mind!
