    Typo in Annie’s dialog in the first panel. Either “close all of the air seals…” or “close all air seals….” (although this does not distract from her outfit!)

    Seriously, a stun grenade?

    He’s joking, right?

    @Sir Jack: Interesting. I just figured he missed an “f” (i.e. “Then close off the air seals…”). Probably the easiest fix.

    The nose of that soldier in panel 3 looks familiar; is that Sluggo?

    BTW, I love that tag list; “Anne Bang Hughie X” sounds like a fun movie. 8)

    @Sir Jack

    I think it’s supposed to be “close off”.

    The soldier to the left of Hughie in the first frame looks like young Les from early Funky Winkerbean, when it was an actual comic strip and before it turned into a soap opera. I don’t recognize the young woman on the phone. Someone from Lil Abner?

    Who wants to take bets they just stunned a gun with its trigger jammed and Chuck comes plowing through the wall? (Sure, conventional thinking would say “Air Duct”, but I really wanna see the wall!)

    @pakopako

    They just stunned a dead body and Chuck is going to come up through the floor.

    Captcha inspired me: post bonehead

    Turning Funky into a soap wasn’t the end of the world.. the jokes were starting to long run dry. One can only do band turkeys and other recycled jokes for so many years.

    As if a stun grenade is going to stop Chuck.

    @Richard: The girl is Anne (Li’l Orphan Annie), about the only decent person in the enclave.

    That’s great how you get snips from Peanuts that are relevant to the story. How much time do you spend getting those?

    @rasmodeus I think it’s the other way around. He opens to a random page in the complete Peanuts collection and whatever the kids are saying indicates the next turn in the storyline.

    I keep looking at the last panel and thinking it should read “bwang” to go along with the peanut strip. Good kick ass action coming up. weeeeeee

    Okay I’m calling it.

    By this time next week we’ll have seen the insides of Hughie X decorating the walls of complex.

    😛 Are we suppose to root for Chuck? I prefer X, he got values.

    @theo, you pick your path in the dark and step on Yogi’s foot. The road to Detroit was built with good intentions. The Syndicate has values too, should I root for the rational men?
