Wow, not only a Coffee Break comic but an awesome one! The blood pressure sleeve is a nice touch.
Actually see this happening; I was at a forum for traffic safety that played the “health cost” card. Canada’s health system is almost fully covered by taxpayers. I pointed out that constantly watching for speed traps and Ride checkpoints caused a lot of stress.

-I’m no longer welcomed at these forums…

If you think this isn’t where we’re headed with Obamacare, think again!

Why don’t you finish the argument you started in the other comment thread before trying to resurrect it here?

Threads? This isn’t a discussion forum, it’s a series of comics and the comments thereon.

If you could direct me to the “incomplete” argument to which you are referring, I could clarify it.

Don’t worry, I’ll use small words.

Haw haw! Hey, if ya need to figure out how a state run health care system works, may I direct you to the British system or its Canadian version. They tend to get expensive and top heavy though so it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have a private sector auditor go though the books from time to time! We’ve had motorcycle helmet laws for about 20 years and seatbelt laws longer than that; the health care system is still losing money despite that.
