Making the token Klingon ship’s doctor would radically cut down on simulating and hypochondria… but Trek’s imagination was limited by making the doctor female (cough, “Beverly”, cough).
Luckily we have KMaru to boldly go up a crewmember’s ass and way out of the Starfleet captain’s comfort zone!
