. . .
Not much else to say in the matter. We’ve forgotten that the people in Iraq and Afghanistan are human as well. Even worse that the terrorists’ indifference to the value of human life IS comparable to ours for the people of these countries. We de-value their existence with slurs like “haji” and “rag-head,” failing to realize that not all people from these countries are fanatics who would just as soon use modern technology to blow people up. Just these vocal few who have their statements to make. I don’t know for certain the beliefs possessed by the Boston bombers, but their act was just as cowardly as any suicide attack, with bonus points for getting to walk away from it like a pair of smug bastards.
Poignant! Life is life and it’s tragic when anyone gets taken out (well, even the roughly 10% that are shitstains we’d be better off without). It’s tragic that true devout people get dragged into these messes.
– I am quite curious about the angle these two freaks had. Hope we find out.
here’s a bit of info on the kid, Martin Richard, as well as some of the other bombing victims. including donation locations.
and for kunar, there was a recent donation drive here, but it’s over. they do however have donations for other Afghanistan regions.
Beautiful comic, JY. Beautiful artwork, powerful message. Well done.
This is somehow more terrifying than the Last War. Reminds me of that Chuck’n’Chuck news bulletin you did some time ago, “bloody forthnight” or something similar.
One mind at a time Jason. If your addition can get just one person to consider, to understand, we/us/ourselves….we ALL advance. Thank you for trying.
