Well, it’s good to see Riley isn’t all in Brown’s face over what happened to Hughie. Pops still has a lot of healing to do. Nice touch with the Reddy Kilowatt lamp.

“You don’t need that part.” *snerk*

and I was hoping for a close up of the Whoopee hourse rather than the supply tent… we haven’t seen any gratuitous nudity and fanservice since Chuck delt with some of Annie’s daddy issues before CAL showed up….

Forshame, JY, enticing us with sex, and making us engaged in an edge of our seat thrilling adventure instead.

Captcha seems to have caught Popeye’s accent when discussing his blindness: “Eva since I saws etwapic, I ain’t saws nuttin no more”

    Aw his poor arm…

    Now can Chuck get laid?

You don’t need that part. Love this line.

Riley’s gonna get either Chuck or himself killed like that….say, am i the only one thinking that light looks awful familiar?

    Great installment!

Hey JY– Bill F. said something about Reddy KiloWatt that sparked an idea; if you run out of print daily characters to kill off, maybe you can draw from the the land of mascot/logo characters?

After how the Pep Boys botched my last auto repair, I wouldn’t mind seeing them get shot up by the Syndicate!

    differ lastrumb

Nice of Riley to give Chuck a hand! He was gettin’ tired of being a one-armed bandit. I rather like the new look Pops has, and at least HIS girlfriend didn’t get crushed by a giant….pumpkin?

I thought that light was meant to look like another “Thimble Theater” character, like Eugene the Jeep or maybe Professor O.G. Watasnozzle; I never would’ve guessed Reddy Kilowatt.

BTW, JY, if you’re looking for any more heavy hitters for the final smackdown, did you know that Superman was a comic strip character before he appeared in comic books?

    – ReCaptcha loves this comic for all its verbruc references.

Sounds like Chuck ain’t stayin’ with Anne…which is a crying shame. Fighting for something is a lot easier on the soul than fighting for nothing, Chuck.

I foresee him going after the Syndicate, taking them down once and for all, then heading back to be with Anne….but I’m a romantic.
