Curse these one-panel updates!!! It’s like only taking one small hit off the ol’ crack pipe!
Continuity observation– if CAL was so fast he could dodge Snoop’s charge, X’s aim, and Chuck’s punch, how could Chuck outrun him?
Like Odemon, I’m also calling that CAL is forever going to get forever eaten/regernerating in the Kudzu. Looks like his arm has stopped bleeding already/
Captcha is hoping that Annie shows off her nfocont again.

My guess is that CAL is indeed much faster than Chuck, but it’s like comparing quick muscle twitches to full-on sprinting. A comic book ninja who can snatch an arrow out of the air may not be able to run as fast as the arrow.
Makes sense, but then again, Daddy Warbucks has been referenced as still alive and in the ICU, but hasn’t been seen yet. Maybe he’ll make an appearance before the end…
@ ptrick – Sun Tzu knew that a large part of winning a battle is using your environment to do most of the work for you. Draw out your enemy to where you have the tactical advantage. If they’re low on water, draw them to a desert. Force them to low ground and attack from high ground. Trick them into going into marshes or swamps to slow them down, make them sick from insect bites.
My theory is that Cal’s not big on endurance… Most of his fights are over so quick, he never gets winded… This fight with Chuck has got to be slowing him down, healing factor or not.
I really hope we’re going to see some of those bottled beasts released; Vampire Opus, the Far Side cow, Zeebacrock, et cetera, all ganging up on CAL would make for a hell of a picture. Howzabout it, JY?
