Perfectly stated, Jason. All I need to say about this.

Cool action! Just like one of those ‘skullcrusher’ candies!

Trust us, J. As someone who aspires to launch his own comic, I find this idea deeply offensive and have already thrown in my hat against these acts. Imagine if my work includes a sly reference to a work I like or dislike, but because I made that reference at all, my site gets shut down? So much for freedom of speech, right? BTW, Captcha tells me things are getting heChiC, to which I replied, “how.”

Because SOPA, like the Patriot Act, means never having to say you’re sorry.

Captcha thinks ████████████████████ and ████████ is for ███████.

Don’t worry, it won’t pass. Until well after election day, when it will blow through with nary a glitch.

The Hell with calling my congressman, I’m calling the Vatican to report a miracle. Jason Yungbluth and Glenn Beck actually AGREE on something.
( Actually, I did send my congressman an e-mail, also both my senators. )

I called my congressman and senators personally.
As an author and game designer, I really object to a law that is supposedly to “protect” me but will basically shut me down.
I’d rather hand unfinished manscripts and beta-ware over to the thepiratebay than see this law pass.
Plus, I reminded my Republican senator of just how many signatures we need to trigger a recall election, and told him that as a Republican it would be my civic duty to see him recalled if he voted for those bills.
I loved the backpedaling.
