The Wiz isn’t done, just his “shade.” I’m guessing it doesn’t need a head to function.
It also infers Broomhilda is dead because of some fire. If anything, the burns might make her look BETTER. =/

Nah, the Wiz is toast. Take a look at Panel 6 of #237 – he’s getting his kink on in order to project the shade, complete with nipple hooks (which the shade doesn’t have). Shade is also clothed in a robe with stars, whereas the physical Wiz (if ever a physical Wiz there was, the wizard of Id is one) is butt nekkid. Here in Panel 4 we got nipple hooks and a nekkid physical Wiz, because… because because because because be-CAUUUUUSE… he’s dead.

Now now now…. Who says that Hildy isn’t possessing Kit Walker? I wouldn’t put it past the old girl. But knowing how twisted JY is, I wouldn’t put it past it being a WIZ based infestation.

Questions for all:
1) I do not get the ghost who walks reference. Please elaborate
2) what is all this talk about “projecting the shade” Is this the way the wizzard of id/jizz was able to visit Hilda as a projection. Is there more? What am I missing?

Now a shuffling headless zombie.
Hilda sensed it was her destiny to wait near the Corpse who Stands, implying that she needed to engage in mutually-assured destruction with the Wiz in order to…what?
Animate Mr. Walker, I’d guess, who, unkillable, is likely to play an important role in the real Battle Royale w/ Cal and/or Hobs.

So yes, he is Kit Walker, AKA the Ghost who Walks, AKA The Phantom.
I love that he’s still in this, and that we have no idea if he’s possessed by Hildy, or the Wizard, or simply reanimated with his own will or some other consciousness. I also love that Hildy killed the Wizard. Really love it. If he’d killed her and survived I’d be mad. It’s not like he’s Cal.

I reduced the number of updates only briefly so that I could begin work on the Weapon brown animated commercial. Next week will also be one update, but after that it is back to beeswax as usual!
