I was wondering when Gramps was going to show up.
April 7th, 2010 at 3:39 pm
Awesome! Now I know which parts to order…
Wait, does anybody have the addy for the Syndicates online store? It won’t show up in the search engines.

Is Riley flashing Huey a gang sign there?

…or signifying a booby trap in the gun? DUnn, dun, dunnn!

Any significance of the 771? Charles Schulz died when he was 77… Or am I just reading too much into it?

I have no idea who Gramps is, but I like him already.

Gramps is the third \star\ of The Boondocks–in the original he’s Huey and Riley’s granddad.
April 7th, 2010 at 10:13 pm
@flabajaba: Me too, at least the Boondocks is getting fuller recognition here, I figured we’d get Huey n’ Riley, but it was looking like Riley was just a cameo, but I am glad to be wrong…..

At first I thought that was a rocket shell or something, but now that you say that NaOH…yeah haha it does look like a 2 megaton pleasure device.

Hold on… if the underground has Gramps, who’s evidently familiar with WB’s cyborg arm, then why did they have such trouble deactivating it, back when WB was chained in the hurt locker?
April 8th, 2010 at 7:14 pm
Well well. The three characters I knew nothing about all turn out to be from the same strip. That makes it all the easier.
Who says reading violent webcomics all day isn’t educational?

At first glance, I thought that was a character from “Pooch Cafe” hanging on the wall. I had never heard of Bleeker before; if his name wasn’t in the tag list, I wouldn’t have known what to Google. Love the way the surprises keep coming.

@TheBruce He knows what it was originally, which is probably the reason they were able to cut the command fiber at all. But the Syndicate’s modified it, and he probably doesn’t know the extent of that.

A suggestion for the coming war:
Ever heard of Robotman, from the comic now known as “Monty”? How about a whole regiment of armed Robotmen acting as the first line of defense for the underground society? Considering what a cute little guy he was, it would make for a hilarious scene. Just look at him:

Any reference with the schultz 777 gun? All I could think of was Charles Shultz.. but I do not get the 777 part.
April 9th, 2010 at 11:34 pm
666 is the number for Hell
777 is the number for Heaven
That’s the only reference I could think of

@Lickjizz
It is a Schulz 771. And I know those numbers meant something when I picked them…
