4/3/10: The Easter Egg Hunt is OVER! Thanks to everyone who participated. It appears that not a single egg went undiscovered, a true testament to my fans’ Predator-like hunting skills!
Unfortuantely, the task of pulling out and cleaning the eggs’ spines is left to me! So expect a list of the winners on Monday. Hope you all had fun, and happy Easter!

OK, if this is an April fool’s joke, so be it, better than last year’s, but this is definitely Eye candy, almost worth believing this should stay in the book anyway, even though it’s not real…..surprised you didn’t manage to hide B & RK somewhere in frame just to mess with us Blockheads anyway, or maybe I haven’t looked deeply enough yet LOL
April 1st, 2010 at 12:37 pm
Mallard’s head on a platter is an amusing riff, considering your politics, JY.
April 1st, 2010 at 12:41 pm
This. Is. Awesome! (Hey, they even have the Willy ‘n Ethel’s chef!)
But what’s with Woody Allen?
puzzler list
April 1st, 2010 at 12:48 pm
Better yet, include these in DF simply because the dialogue is pure Beepo & Roadkill (and Squints) even though it’s coming out of WB, Anne and Hughie….in fact, this is reverse of last year’s AF srtrip where B & RK were doing WB dialogue…..Harry H. Fucking Christ, JY, you are a genuisburger cubed
Captcha performs Hawaiian circumcisions: honolulu cut
April 1st, 2010 at 12:51 pm
@JW: I don’t think that JY’s politics cross over to WB as much as anywhere else, and since this is an AF strip, it’s not real anyway…..and of all the references to get, his is actually the most like the source in appearance (at least to me, there is so much to see period)
April 1st, 2010 at 1:11 pm
Aw! I was hoping to see Pops and Bluto get it on in a gay sex club.
Shame that they don’t have an underground scene in the underground.

I can’t imagine much nutrition in Mallard’s brain. Better get that shmoo production line ramped up.
April 1st, 2010 at 2:19 pm
Oh … just noticed the “napkin” Henry is using on his … cheeks.
Captcha mouthwash needed after eating Mallard’s brain: mintiest new

Oh, wow, just realized it’s only the dialogue that’s wrong, this is the actual strip just AFucking dialogue…..DAMN YOU JY! DAMN YOU TO HEAVEN!!!!

Is that Dagwood’s diner cook?
April 1st, 2010 at 3:59 pm
Sigh, I love spring time, Bird Chirping, taxes being paid, Cute Female Exchange students on Spring Break. And a Fresh WB comic. YAY!!!!
Okay I gotta Ask Is that But-head in the Gimp outfit being Ridden by a Troll of some sort, and What is with Woody Allen looking NORMAL.
Also , when are we going to see the love scene between Anne and WB. will it be Censored? Will there be anymore HONEY Huang in Submissive gear ? if so let me know My Work computer flagged it as inappropriate.
Damn High tech……

left, LEFT!, dammit!

Woody Allen was the subject of his own comic strip from the mid-70s through the early 80s. I like how he’s drawn just like in the strip, but he’s been aged appropriately.

I like Momma riding the 20-something son and Catfish turned into a real catfish! The hairdos on the Small Society guys are great, too!
April 1st, 2010 at 6:58 pm
Wot? Nobody got the Zippy joke?
April 1st, 2010 at 7:17 pm
That his head is now more pin-shaped?
April 1st, 2010 at 7:18 pm
Also, who’s the hippy-looking one armed guy?
April 1st, 2010 at 7:22 pm
Thirdly, Woody Allen chasing after Lily Wong is a nice touch.
April 1st, 2010 at 7:24 pm
Hey, I loved this. It’s almost like ol’ Chuck is so overwhelmed by everything he just can’t can’t comprehend there NOT being a Gay Sex Club and as his brains melts down he just keeps babbling about Gay Sex Clubs.
Captcha Fun: Reclined Rala
April 1st, 2010 at 8:41 pm
@JY: Is the joke that Zippy now has more brains and thus a bigger head than most people, as opposed to his usual microencephalic self? (I like big words and I cannot lie.)
I’m surprised to see Momma living with the good guys; being self-centered, controlling, and just plain nasty, she would seem to be Syndicate material.
Woody Allen? I thought I was the only one who remembered that comic! You, sir, are a living comic encyclopedia! (Salutes)

Your take on Henry reminds me of Arseface, from the comic book “Preacher”; ever read it?
– Captcha likes strippers: but twirlers.
April 1st, 2010 at 8:48 pm
@T-Willard: I don’t think that’s Taz; it’s probably a character from “Animal Crackers,” or maybe “Boner’s Ark.”
– Captcha needs a doctor: of diseased.
April 2nd, 2010 at 12:11 am
Holy wow. And here I thought I was the only one who read Inside Woody Allen (easily the most disturbing comic strip title of all time). And all the other cameos are awesome too.
But man, the rebellion is going to need heroes for the upcoming battle. That is why I hope we’ll be seeing:
RIP KIRBY! (fanfare)
He could… you know… rip… people… up?

April 3rd, 2010 at 2:59 am
So….Annie’s arm can talk?
April 3rd, 2010 at 11:46 am
The one armed man would be Thatch, a short lived strip from the Clinton era.

@JY: annotation, m’lord, annotation
Yes, the WBiverse is chock full of the characters you know and love (to mess with), but not all of us get the references…..and whoever is gonna be in charge of pointing out all that’s gonna earn his pay tenfold when the day comes……especially since they are the most dangerous witness for the prosecution in the copyright massacre on the horizon…..even if it all gets pfhhhted out by Fair Use, the characters are close but are not those particular ones, etc.
and BTW, followed up on the tags just to see some old faces and to be stunned by the way you took all these characters and some (like Hawkshaw) almost line for line perfect, and just dropped them into frame…….kind of like how I want two prints of Dirty Blonde, one for my cubicle and one for my den……hehehhehe…..it’s almost sad that you aren’t one of those degenerates drawing disney porn et al. out there on the fringes, since you seem to have mastered every style imaginable LOL
Captcha explains how you’d become a one-armed man: the mauled
April 5th, 2010 at 12:43 pm
What I love is the mangled and somewhat foreseeable way these characters could be used as weapons by a sadistic Government. Bravo kind sir, Bravo indeed.

The anti-Mallard Fillmore bash isn’t suprising considering how rabidly Liberal the author is.
April 12th, 2010 at 8:38 am
@Dak
Is Mallard Fillmore a political strip? Oh! Now I get why I’ve never laughed at it! All this time I was looking for a joke, when I should have been nodding my head in sympathy with its laser-like focus on Washington’s foibles.

The creature is not Taz, but the lion cub from \Animal Crackers.\ Don’t know his name.
