I love the way the ‘DNA ghost’ has the same hair as Chuck.

FINALLY! They meet at last. I was getting real real pissed at spook for taking so long.

@ Don: it’s only taken a while because of the update sitch……when published I bet it’s a few minutes comparably
Now for the Snoop/Duke smackdown, that is gonna take another week or so I bet, right JY? ARRGH!! (or more appropriate here, “AUUUUUGH!”)

What is with the “I!” anyways? I’m missing the reference, I think…

Isoleucine?

“I!” means spook thinks he has found “himself” He thinks Chuckles body is his own.

I’m suprised that “I” could be heard over the German Opus death metal.

What will a possessed Chuck be capable of???

For starters, I bet he can kick a football clear to the moon.
Things are probably going to happen quickly now, and I don’t know how much longer the series is going to be, but here are some characters I hope to see appear before it’s all over:
– Mutt & Jeff
– Fungo, from “Get Fuzzy”
– Anyone from “Pearls Before Swine”
– Moon Mullins
– Barney Google
– The Dropouts
– The Phantom
– Mandrake the Magician
– Sam, from “Sam’s Strip”
– Opus (Anthropomorphic animals aren’t exactly impossible in the Post-Apocalypse)
– Dennis the Menace
– The Katzenjammer Kids
– Rupert Bear
– The women from “Apartment 3-G”
I know that there’s very little chance that all of them will be seen, but I hope to see some of them.

Barney Google made an appearance in Weapon Brown 95.

Snuffy Smith and others from the Barney Google comics were there, but not Barney himself.

Mutt and Jeff would be great. That would be nostalgic for me since Jeff was actually my high school sports mascot. For proof click this link http://www.fairburyjeffs.org/.

If we are putting in cameo and character requests: Primary cast members of Non Sequitur, Pibgorn, Tumbleweeds (or did I miss them?). And if you’re going to be open to current webcomics in the next “Amazing set of Adventures! – So Stay Tooned” Ive got dozens of suggestions.

My dream scenario: Chuck is pinned down by an army of goons, their leader says something along the lines of “Surrender! We’ve got 40 men armed with plaz guns and a squadron of fighters overhead, what do you have?” Then Chuck screams “I GOT A ROCK!” and bashes the leader’s skull in with a chuck of concrete….

I’d like to see Zippy the Pinhead in there, myself.

Toon requests? Hmmmm… howzabout Dondi?

Oh my f’ing underworld beliefs. I love this but I have a little concern. What am I to do with my life once this story comes to a close. Manic withdrawels and cold sweets are already creeping across my soul inbetween updates what happens when it is done. JY you should start posting once a week to draw this story out longer. PLease take this into consideration.

I love everyone who thinks I should lighten my workload. God bless you! But I will continue two updates a week for as long as I can. Anyway, this story still has a lot of life in it, have no fear!

Forgive me if someone said this before, but I just came to the realization that the ghost yelling “I!” might be the parody bizarro ghost from Family Circus “NOT ME!”

@Rasmodeus
I hadn’t thought of that! I, er…I mean, of course that’s what it is!

Just got my copy of Blockhead’s War today – beautiful, Jason! And the bonus art in the back is Just Plain Awesome. But that’s not why I bring it up, because having it at hand made it easy to look up the comic where Spook gets summoned in the first place.
“Ahhh, ‘Weapon Brown’. Not his true name of course, his secret name. That one is written in the red alphabet. You need a translator, one who can taste this name on the wind – and read it to its last character: ‘I’, the name’s keeper. The dead are good for this task, providing you can convince them it is their name they are reading. They think a new life will be waiting for them at the end of it.”
