Awwww! Missed the fuckin’ deadlineeeeee! Well, An early Saturday update is better than none at all, right? Honestly, this took me way longer to finish than I thought it would. And to think some people are still yearning for more animated cartoons. I could put out a hardcover Weapon Brown omnibus in the time it takes to do one News Beat!
Well, let your anticipation build! I will be out of town this weekend, back in good ol’ Buffalo New Yawk for the Buffalo Comicon and an appearance at the downtown library for…I think it’s “Hug a Comic Book” month or something. Anyway, that’s Saturday and the comic show is Sunday. Anyone not in Buffalo for either of these is a capital “L” Luh-HOOOSER!
Tragically, this also means I am going to lose valuable drawing time, so next week’s updates are Tuesday/Thursday. I just love making you guys suffer!

Also, it’s worth noting that Dagwood’s Weapon Brown costume is more often worn by real human beings than his canon work outfit.

I noticed the numbering was off.. Just read through the entire thing, awesome so far, and noticed some of the strips are labelled the same on consecutive installments. Not sure if it was intentional, but I count 113.
Keep up the good work.. I’m really enjoying this.
