Gay Valiant + the return of Riley + three strips next week = A+!!!

And Tank McNamara, maybe?

Hmm… that couldn’t be Jay Leno, so I’m drawing a blank.

With that lantern jaw I’m betting on either Dick Tracy or Fearless Fosdick.

…Mr. Incredible?!
October 17th, 2009 at 6:29 am
It can’t be Dick Tracy, or he’d be wearing a trench coat, that hat of his, and he’d probably be talking into his wrist watch.
October 17th, 2009 at 6:31 am
Also, Fearless Fosdick had a mustach…so it can’t be him.

The Dick Tracyesque face might be a bit misleading. That’s not just a square jaw or some tubby jowl action going on, that’s a gigantic misshapen head with a normal-sized face stuck on the front of it. He could be a character from a more cartoonishly drawn strip, given a grossly oversized head in this version as a reference to the art style of whatever the hell he comes from.

I’m with xmrhyde on this one, it looks a lot like Tank MacNamara, that chin is unmistakable.
October 17th, 2009 at 11:03 am
Oh, his name is MacNamara and he’s the leader of the band….
Correct!

I am not disappointed with this development. I figure that Annie or someone else would consider recruiting WB – just seems like a good fit
But are they the “Good Guys”? Could WB tolerate being with other people and grow from it? He’s kind of a dick but we know that it’s a crappy world he lives in. Any sort of civilization here wants to exploit him.
Hughie seems right in line with his character – he’s always wanted to kill somebody just to look tough… If it were me, I’d watch for him- I can’t help but think he’d pull a Jayne

No doubt Good Ol’ Charlie would only partner with them until he found a way to re-unite with Snoop and escape. But the inevitable attack from the Syndicate will force Annie’s group and Weapon Brown to unite in earnest.

Monday, monday, monday!! New Weapon Brown!!! I sure hope the bonus strip doesn’t turn into a shortened Wednesday strip, and Friday is the lopped off two frames from the bottom of Wed’s. GO CHUCK!!! GO SNOOP!!

I foresee the Syndicate bringing in some heavy machinery…and Anti-tank MacNamara giving them serious hell.

At first I couldn’t understand why Val was lisping; even with that haircut, he’s not really a “sissy” character. Then I figured it out — he speaketh that way because, forsooth, the days of King Arthur all men’s speech doth soundeth in that manner.
Still, I can almost imagine this guy saying, “You’re dethpicable!”

Ahh, the suspense!

@Sherlock
Forsooth, it works both ways!

I’m surprised Ceasar wasn’t the one who was with Hughie when they got WB
