And Popeye for the win!!! Dude, if you hadn’t won me over already, this would have sealed the deal.

  2. Rob

well, i never saw that coming.

i have this mental image atm of Chuck and Popeye going back-to-back ala army of two. both ripping people apart and blasting craptonnes out of them.

  3. flabajaba

    Popeye, the perennial badass.

  4. MarvoDaMighty

Son of a Bitch! Son….. of…… A BITCH! That was AWESOME. Okay Dude I gotta say I have this Bro Crush on your work right now. I had to read Dr. McNinja while you were away (Cries inside) bt now you are back , and I walked in to see THIS !! LOOOOOVE IT LOOOOOOOOVE it.

  5. JY

Thank you all. Please don’t forget me on September 30th, which is National Bromance Day.

  6. sco3tt

I see how it goes. Chuck, in pre-badass comic form, was a loser, but here he’s bad as hell. Popeye of course was already a badass, so is amped up even more. Excellent.

And all that without any empty spinach cans, dam.

  7. Hobb7es

Loving it. three updates in and you’ve not disappointed. Well worth the wait while you re energized.

  8. Sherlock_Watson

And is that Annie we see in the background? Leapin’ lizards!

  9. espensor

    holy shit

  10. MarvoDaMighty

Nah that has to be JAZMINE (Dubois) the Little girl down the block. She is Huey’s Platonic Love interest. I am telling you Anne is Anne Coulture, she had this one show that explained her insanity as a way of beating “DA man” from within by being the perfect adversary for aspiring black politicians. but Fuck all that . I am soo excited, I’m all Atwitter and giggly. I haven’t been this excited since the Teen titans Anime Manga came out and Raven was drawn all Anime girl Sexy .

Ah seh gah DAMN!! I actually forgot Popeye was a comic before it was a cartoon. So good. Hopefully we see him pop some eyes soon. And are those cricket shinguards Huey is wearing?

  12. A

I did not see that coming. Badass

  13. HeadCheese

If I’m not mistaken, that’s a can of spinach on Popeye’s utility belt…

  14. Chyll Will

Damn, I would’ve liked to see them all on the same side. Meh, it might still happen, but knowing Chuck he could probably care less than zero either way.

  15. A

    Update friday, I sez!

  16. sentroller

I’ll gladly pay you Tuesday for a beating today. Bwahaha Pops is a vamped up bad ass, can’t wait to see how Chucky deals with this?

  17. Alexander

AMAZING! The Beatles reissues AND a Weaponized Popeye in one week!

  18. destruya

Not very smart of them to not figure out how to detach that arm. Kind of seems like chains wouldn’t be enough to hold that thing in place.

  19. jammit

How does Popeye know for sure that Weapon Brown knows how to write?

  20. A.L.

Thanks for not fucking up my childhood,I really do appreciate it unlike some bastards who want to make said childhood into mature things in the worst kind of way.

  21. JY

Hmm. I must not be trying hard enough.

  22. Bob

He’s a little grittier, but Popeye was actually ALMOST this badass to begin with; it wouldn’t take much more than one can of irradiated spinach to take him to this level.

  23. One Punch Review #27: Weapon Brown « The Webcomic Overlook
