Weapon Brown 95

Welcome back to the most kick-ass comic strip on the Web Net Webnet goddamnit! Have we settled on what the shorthand for this Inter-thing is yet??
I appreciate your patience, but you can stop sending me death threats. Chuck is back, and we are now in the final arc of the epic Blockhead’s War saga.Things are about to get pretty exciting, with a lot of new characters and psychotic new action, and I anticipate no more hiati until the story ends. There’s going to be lots of cool additions to this site along the way, so brace yourselves.
Are you braced? Good! On with the show!

Tell me if I got this right:
P1 — “Miss Peach”
P2 — “Snuffy Smith,” “Li’l Abner,” and something by Basil Wolverton
P3 — Porky Pine, from “Pogo”
P4 — The remains of Kokonino Kounty, from “Krazy Kat”
How’d I do?

Well no-shit, Sherlock! Right on all counts!
By the way, the Basil Wolverton critter is Lena Hyena.

That’s a DNA sequence it’s reciting over and over. I’m assuming it’s Chuck’s.

Every one of these references is awesome, but seriously, dude, pace yourself or source material for WB3 is going to be scarce.

Wow, panel 3 not only has Porkypine, but the background closely follows the famous “We have met the enemy and he is us” Pogo strip for Earth Day 1971:

Although WB has more nuclear waste and jet engines and such. Well *done*, sir, well done.

Panel three made me think of Mark Trail right off the bat, the way Jack Elrod will throw a wildlife still life in the foreground every now and then.
