Weapon Brown 94

I am glad to see that the payoff for this storyline has satisfied the majority of you. I assure you, the badassiness is about to kick into overdrive, and the buildup to the biggest comic event since the Watchmen movie has begun!
Coming next: the mystery behind Miss Bucksley’s tit juice explained! The identities of Weapon Brown’s new tormentors revealed! And CAL-v.1N and HOBS unleashed!
So much action and sheer intensity naturally requires some preparation, which is why Weapon Brown will be on hiatus until September. In the interim, I will be preparing the next issue of the Weapon Brown comic book, which now looks like it will stretch into a three issue series. I will also have a special incentive for you regulars when it is ready to order, so start drooling.
If you are not already on my mailing list, now would be a great time to join so that you can be notified the instant Weapon Brown has returned. Simnply drop me an e-mail and make “SUBSCRIBE” your subject line.
And don’t forget: baby loves fan art! Send me your etchings, Photoshop manipulations and mutated action figure photos and help keep this site worth visiting during my sleep in the rejuvenation chamber I just picked up from Michael Jackson’s estate sale.
Finally, have you noticed that “share” button at the post? Don’t be afraid to add this strip to Stumbleupon, Reddit and those other gatekeepers of cool. why should Zogg be the only thing the world knows me for??

Huey and Riley? ….or is that a stupid question?
July 24th, 2009 at 10:33 pm
Worth the wait. Nice art.
July 24th, 2009 at 11:09 pm
I was thinking the same thing. I love the Boondocks show!
July 24th, 2009 at 11:55 pm
Awesome! I hope they’re on Chuck’s side…
July 25th, 2009 at 12:30 am
Putting Boondocks into Weapon Brown is almost the epitome of bad-ass.
July 25th, 2009 at 12:48 am
Ten bucks says Anne either Little Orphan Annie or Ronald-Ann from Outland.
July 25th, 2009 at 12:52 am
Sweet! I knew Huey and Riley were going to show up sooner or later…
July 25th, 2009 at 2:45 am
YES! They look GREAT! Great job incorporating Huey’s sideburns into his look. Man, you even got Riley’s love of pistols. MONEY.
July 25th, 2009 at 3:15 am
Wow, I could’ve sworn I saw breasts in the last strip. =/
July 25th, 2009 at 3:22 am
Also…”Anne?”
Of the Little Orphan variety?
July 25th, 2009 at 4:03 pm
If this were a movie made in the 1970s in Hong Kong, the movie would abruptly end on a freeze frame of panel one and that’d be that.
Thankfully, the narrative presses on. I’m not familiar with the characters, but hey, I hardly knew anything about Crock and still liked the last story arc.
July 26th, 2009 at 3:41 am
Combination of Riley and Demoman from Team Fortress 2.
I liiiiike.
July 26th, 2009 at 4:42 am
If you didn’t see this coming from a mile away you’re blind as fuck (probably got ran over by it).Excellent, excellent excellent <3.
July 26th, 2009 at 7:52 am
Well I didn’t see it coming. Brown getting nabbed by a mysterious third side was a given, but I was expecting his attacker to be an underdog everyman like Dagwood or Dilbert, not the Boondocks kids.
July 26th, 2009 at 11:40 am
They really have no idea who they’re dealing with…
July 27th, 2009 at 5:23 am
Those epaulets.
They’re road cones?
July 27th, 2009 at 9:38 am
One set is traffic cones and the other’s are made from tires.
July 27th, 2009 at 9:55 am
Marrock FTW! Yes, that is the latest in my series of cleverly wrought post-apocalyptic found-item garb.
July 27th, 2009 at 4:01 pm
Ohhhh God in hell.
I really, REALLY hate Boondocks, excellent work. I hope they meet a fate similar to Crokk’s.
July 27th, 2009 at 4:22 pm
WHO THE FUCK DOESN’T LIKE BOONDOCKS!?! I’ll tell you who…
…
….
….
HITLER! THAT’S WHO!
July 27th, 2009 at 4:24 pm
I was kind of thinking it was going to be Cathy, for some reason.
Some very, very strange reason. AACK.
July 27th, 2009 at 8:54 pm
September? SEPTEMBER!?!? Egads! Forsooth! (Heavily censored)!!! Ah well, at least I can catch up on the archives…..
July 27th, 2009 at 11:02 pm
I was expecting Calvin and H.O.B.B.E.S., but Boondocks is cool too.
“Hurt Locker?” I hear it’s a good movie, but is that product placement?
July 27th, 2009 at 11:45 pm
@Richard
The term “hurt locker” precedes the movie of the same name (I heard Sly Stallone use it in Demolition Man), but I can’t deny that the movie probably resurrected the term for me.

JY, back during the earlier stages of my misspent youth I once made a suit of armor out of old tires…
Yeah, I had way too much free time on my hands, this is why my part of a friend’s driveway got turned to glass with the help of a few household chemicals and a volkswagen beetle.
July 28th, 2009 at 11:15 am
Holy Snikies!!!
That was Cool and worth the wait. I do hope they are Good guys and not Villains I would hate to seem them “Weapon Browned” But it would be a good fight, Huey in the TV Show had MAd fighting skills for a little kid. Can;t wait till September…..
July 28th, 2009 at 11:20 am
oh yeah b.t.w. “ANNE” could be Anne Colture she was Parodied heavily in a few Boondocks episodes. NOw that would be funny…
July 28th, 2009 at 6:11 pm
The fro made me think it was Huey but when I saw the other guy with the cornrows … it’s just gotta be the Boondocks Huey and Riley…. They both look really good!
July 28th, 2009 at 8:44 pm
“I am the stone that the builder refused…”
Looking forward to the next arc…and add me to the list of folks hoping that the Huey and Riley are good guys, and not doomed to be destroyed by Weapon Brown.
July 29th, 2009 at 12:28 pm
Thanks for the cliffhanger!
July 30th, 2009 at 2:47 am
JY, go fuck yourself with a rusty soldering iron. Now I have to wait to get my WB fix. Damn it man, I already spend enough on booze (gin specifically). Do you know how much it is going to cost to fill the void left by WB? We are talking hundreds here.
Reading a new WB is akin to attaining nirvana whilst walking through the Elysium Fields of myth.
July 30th, 2009 at 10:26 am
Ditto, what flabajaba2213 says, except with Schmucker Scharz Bier, (I have discriminating taste as proven by my love of deep fried). You force me to resort to domestic dark beer and break out my old Stranglers and Dead Boys albums, while teaching my dogs command words to attack toddlers for solace
July 31st, 2009 at 11:08 am
@Malachi
My command words are “Rex! Start the revolution!!”

Y’know, it’s a shame that Australian syndicated strips are all completely obscure by international standards. I’d give an arm and a leg to see Ginger Meggs turn up later on, even just dead.
August 4th, 2009 at 12:49 am
No one’s brought whether or not Grampa will make an appearance. maybe he’ll be like the whistler to their blade. except he’s black too…
August 4th, 2009 at 11:15 pm
Two things – I just realized that the “Sgt. LeJaune” reference three panels ago was Snoopy’s name when he commanded the foreign legion. And I love how you have an updated version of Huey’s commie suit from the comic.
Genius all around. September can’t come soon enough!
August 17th, 2009 at 2:14 pm
Is it September yet? I think I’m going to go drink myself into a coma for the next week or two.
August 17th, 2009 at 11:07 pm
S…s…so c…c…cold. M…must h…hold out a l…l…little… longerrr…..
August 19th, 2009 at 1:47 am
@ jammit
Jesus man, keep it together. You will not die on me! It’ll be alright. He’ll be back sooner than you realize. Just think warm, happy thoughts, like when WB melted that guys face off with his plaz gun back in WB 3. Just remember that he’ll be back.
August 19th, 2009 at 5:03 pm
Patience, my Preciouses. Waiting hurts so good.
August 23rd, 2009 at 12:56 pm
is it september yet?
too many hiatuses.. this is the third one this year!
August 25th, 2009 at 11:05 am
But think of all the good times once Brown comes back?
August 26th, 2009 at 9:04 am
Nevermind that, I wanna see gran from the t-shirt advert kicking some ass.
August 29th, 2009 at 8:30 am
Pakopako, yeah, but as much as weapon brown is an awesome comic, it still sucks and loses the momentum waiting. I know it’s going to kick ass when it comes back, but the waiting it tough
August 29th, 2009 at 9:30 pm
@Ikjsdsjdfsdjk
I hope I am going to be able to take this baby all the way to the end after this vacation is over, and I hope you all are on my mailing list so that I can send a marching band to your inboxes when the strip relaunches.
August 31st, 2009 at 10:40 pm
Arrrrgh! So close… and yet so far! Can’t… wait… for… more… Weapon… Brown…
September 1st, 2009 at 4:03 pm
One more… (huff, huff) Just one more… (cackle, cackle) Com’on jest one more @#!&**#$! day……
September 1st, 2009 at 10:20 pm
one more day. jason better not pull his patented move of delaying it ever further, or worse, putting up a 2-panel strip (he’s done both to us, multiple times folks). go brown!!!!!!! Get up snoop!!!!!!!!!!
