Weapon Brown 87

So when I went to mail my T-shirts to the T-shirt drive participants I discovered that apparently weight and distance are the factors the Post Office uses to determine what they will charge to deliver a package, and not (as I had thought) the brightness of one’s smile. I thereupon learned that I had asked my customers much less for shipping than I should have.
Well, I shipped them nonetheless, and found myself more out of pocket than I had expected. Grovelling worm that I know I am (I really have to stop listening to Calvinist religious debates on YouTube) I then beseeched those who I had just mailed my goods to perhaps throw another couple bucks my way to compensate me for MY fuck up. I expected that maybe a few would, but anticipated that most would laugh like Beezelbub and twirl their mustaches, as I would certainly do if someone came to me begging for more money for a measly T-shirt after I had already paid the agreed upon price and waited a nice long time for it.
Well, more than a few of you guys came through, with some even tossing in more than they had any reason to. It really showed me what kind of fans I have, which is to say, some pretty damn good ones. So thank you to everyone who helped me correct the latest business catastrophe I have been responsible for (AIG being my first and most celebrated), and I really hope those T-shirts get you some ass.

So Chuck is a man turned into a machine? I thought his brain was more powered by him and the cyborg parts were more just physical add-ons. At any rate, good stuff – I didn’t see Chuck getting out of this one the way it shaped up. Go Chuck and Snoop! F him up!!

ps. do we know what Chuck did to Crok? I have read the earlier weapon brown, where he fights linus, but do not think crok has ever appeared. I take it this is just adding to the story line, without being specific, or is there another weapon brown I should read?

God, I hope he didn’t have to use dial-up. That might explain why it too so long to connect!

@A
Chuck is a cyborg. Crokk is just shitting on his dignity a little. As for Crokk’s neck, there is an unwritten story there. Someday….

Anton Chekhov once wrote that if a cybernetic arm is detatched in the first act of the play, it will be reattached by the third. Bravo, sir. I know you call yourself “Deep Fried”, but I’d deem you “Well Done”.

If job situtuition was better, you would have been subsidized much greater. Happy to at least cover my part of the situation. (They increase the rates so often, there is no way to keep track of it unless you check the site weekly…)

Holy cow was this update a badass strip. Can’t wait for Monday – is the arm going to fight off crok by itself, a la adam’s family or will it reattach to chuck and he beats the living daylights out of Crok? Go Chuck go!!!
