I was wondering if you’d show Garfield. He was strangely absent from the gang of wild animals a few pages ago… looks like you found a better way to mutate him. Love it!

More excellent, excellent work… one always knew that was Garfield’s true form. I suppose Marvin will look slightly different.

Okay, after realizing I had mistaken Kliban’s cat for Garfield (and applying the appropriate facepalm) it became clear that Garfield must be in the pit. However, this iteration of the aforementioned fat cat was completely unexpected, and can only be properly described in a few select words:

Actually, I did kind of see this coming. But will there be a deranged high priest named Arbuckle? (Yeah, I suppose that was already technically done in the book, but it’s post-apocalyptic Earth! You just can’t have enough deranged high priests in service of biological nightmares!)
