“Heathcliff, Heathcliff, no one should
Terrify the neighborhood.”
Ack!

About time.

Jesus, like Bill the Cat needed to look crazier.

Yeah, Bucky looks typical in comparison…
I’ll never watch “9 to 5″ the same way again!
February 14th, 2009 at 3:10 am
By the way, was Brown’s pose inspired by Jules Feiffer’s “Horrible Hopping Hindsight” from The Phantom Tollbooth? >;)

@Chyll Will
“9 to 5″? Bizarro confused. As for the pose, nope! If anything I am boosting it from Frank Miller. It’s fair, though. He stole the whole “let’s fuck up the Spirit” idea from me.

Hate will pump your legs. Fear will make your ass fly.

Jason, I love how you retain the original style of the characters, for the most part, while integrating them into the style of the strip. Bucky looks like Bucky, yet he also has been thoroughly “Weaponized,” you might say…

I hate to think what this Bucky has done to Satchel!

@Alexander
“Weaponized”! I’ve been looking for the best way to describe what I do to these creations. Genius!
(As is my policy, no credit or money will arise from your contribution to my success)

Uhhhh, does this mean we’re gonna get t’ see Weapon Brown vs. Roadkill?

I have one question: Will “Pearls Before Swine” be included among the comics being used herein? ‘Cause I can think of three reasons why it should.
1. The Crocs.
2. The Guard Duck.
3. Rat, when he’s feeling homicidal.
Any one of them could make for a great fight scene with good ol’ Weapon Brown.

Oh my FSM. I just had a thought that gave me shivers. Weapon Brown meets Calvin and Hobbs.
February 16th, 2009 at 6:00 pm
@JY – Yeah, just coloring outside the lines a little; Jane Fonda/Dolly Parton/Lily Tomlin ’9 to 5′ >;)
Now that I think about it, I’m surprised Daddy Warbucks wasn’t seen with the Cartel… yet?

Jason’s already announced that Weapon Brown is fated to meet Calv1n and H.O.B.S., at http://www.whatisdeepfried.com/weaponbrown/weaponbrown.html
In fact, he’s put up a character sheet: http://www.whatisdeepfried.com/weaponbrown/calv1n_and_hobs.html
I’m just waiting to see how Garfield gets “weaponized”. . . the “Blockhead’s War” cover at the bottom of the first page I posted provides a clue (to the right of Weapon Brown, just above the head of what I assume is weaponized Cathy). Weaponized Odie, Jon, and Lyman, now. . . that has the potential to be cruelly, wonderfully horrifying.

Jammit…that’s coming.

But as I said before, what *I* really wanna see is Weapon Brown meets Drusilla

@Chyll Will
Oh, I’m sure I’ll get him in the story somewhere.
