“QFT”? What’s that? Is that like one of them emoticons? I can’t quite make it out. Sorta looks like a grimacing cyclops with a Hitler mustache. What emotion is that supposed to represent? Bemused peevishness? Sultry exasperation? I’m more confused than a dyslexic reading a crossword puzzle!

I’m not picking up on what Tab’s verbal pauses are supposed to mean here, besides making her speech sound weird. What am I missing?
